200 000 years ago somewhere in middle Europe there was a small village called Mimmirstok. Jim and Joe were two brothers and they both were mammuth hunters. They hated each other because they were always fighting for mammuts. Those two brothers were employees of Mayor George. Everytime one of them caught a mammut he got a reward and a few more advantages. The other one which didn’t catch anything was always in despair because he had disadvatages.
He was quivering beause he didn’t know what punishment he will get. The punishment wasn’t that bad, only that his amount of equipment for traps was reduced and he got less salary than the other one. Jim was more intelligent than Joe. Jim had better traps because he always made more complicated traps than Joe. Joes traps were very simple. A big hole covered with leaves, few men with spears would attack a mammut at the same time or a big rock was thrown from a cliff on a mammut. One day Jim made a new type of trap which he was very excited about. The village Mimmirstok had their own territory where only they could hunt for a mammut. If they were hunting for mammuts in the next village’s territory, hunters from that territory could kidnapp and kill hunters which were hunting on their territory. Jim was testing his new revolutionary trap behind the village. The test was very successful and that could cause that Joe would loose his job because Joes last successful trap was three months ago and the Mayor George promised him that if he wouldn’t make a better trap than he did in the past he would be fired because he was a waste of money. So Joe stole Jims idea about the trap because he wasn’t as intelligent as Jim. He started making his own trap which was Jims idea. During time they were making their traps village Mimmimrstok was sieged by a village near them. Joe was trying a trap that he copied from Jim near the territory borders with village Veani with they were in conflict with. He didn’t know that they were in confict and when he saw hunters from village Veani he wasn’t hiding. Joe was attacked and murdered. This murder arouse a war between Mimimrstok and Veani. As Mimimrstok didn’t have any army, they lost the war and they were controled by village Veani. Since Jim was a very intelligent neanderthal and he could catch mammuths very easily he was named as a Veani town main hunter and he was chief of all hunters there and he was also named as Veani town main inventor. He wasn’t hunting anymore but he was inventing gadgets that could make life in Veani town much easier...
